EHSS Administrative Assistant - Dallas, Texas OR Remote within Texas

General Purpose and Scope of Position:
This department-wide position reports to the Director of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS). The Assistant is an essential EHSS team member with tasks ranging from assisting with external EHSS compliance reporting to managing EHSS corporate training and conferences. The EHSS Assistant is also responsible for coordinating calendars, tracking strategic plan tasks, and preparation of presentations. This role will have exposure to EHSS regulatory reporting and advancing EHSS culture throughout the organization.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to produce PowerPoint and speaker notes for presentations
  • Ability to track tasks for the strategic plan
  • Exposure to managing a website
  • Maintaining schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Extensive calendar management
  • Exposure to Sharepoint
  • Manage external
  • Experience with environmental and safety external reporting is a plus
  • Experience providing support for technical professionals a plus

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage calendars and scheduling for the EHSS Director
  • Organize, manage and plan internal training and conferences for EHSS
  • Prepare presentations for delivery by members of the EHSS Team
  • Track and organize tasks to support the EHSS Strategic Plan
  • Manage Sharepoint function for EHSS
  • Actively participate in EHSS external reporting, including tracking tasks and entering data in third party websites
  • Manage third party consulting contracts and invoice payments
  • Assist with tracking department budget and budget planning
  • Assist with the finalization of corporate procedures and distribution

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary wage range $69,600- $87,000 (to be determined based on experience and other factors)
