EHS Senior Director - National

This is a nationwide position responsible for supervising EHS Managers located across the country.  The selected individual can reside anywhere in the U.S.

The Client needs your manufacturing experience and leadership qualities to assess, strategize and build their program, policies, standards and KPIs around environmental health and safety.  Set the vision and lead a team of EHS Managers who oversee the day to day EHS operations across the company.  Partner with Plant Managers to ensure a zero safety-incident mind set is integrated into the daily operations.  With a team of EHS Managers and commitment from the leadership team, you will be supported in your success as the top safety professional within the company.  

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal EHS Senior Director candidate must possess the following:

•    Bachelor’s degree required, an emphasis in safety management, environmental engineering, or related field preferred
•    Ten (10) years of experience in environmental, health, and safety in a manufacturing environment
•    Five (5) years of experience managing staff who focus on EHS initiatives
•    Knowledgeable of OSHA standards
•    Ability to ensure strict compliance with EHS regulatory requirements
•    Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional   business teams
•    Ability to travel up to 75%, primarily domestic, with international travel possible
•    Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
•    Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
