EHS Specialist [SC-10652]

The role:

  • Develop, document, and implement EHS programs, policies and procedures that allow for flexibility within a fast-evolving work environment.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on a range of topics that could include anything from machine guarding and fall protection through to laser and chemical safety.
  • Analyze EHS data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Develop and implement a broad range of EHS training programs that can be delivered in innovative ways to current and new employees.
  • Manage relationships with external regulatory agencies, including activities such as reporting and site-based inspections.

The candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience of developing EHS programs - exposure to international standards is preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Federal and California EPA/OSHA/DOT regulations. 
  • Currently living in / willing to relocate to the Bay Area.
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally as required.
