Boulder Scientific Company is looking for an Environmental Compliance Engineer to join its Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) team in Mead, Colorado.

TSCA Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with various departments to educate on TSCA requirements
  • Monitor the status of chemical products, intermediates and raw materials for compliance with TSCA. File applications as needed.
  • Review new product orders for compliance with the TSCA
  • Work with the Purchasing department on defining the TSCA status of raw materials and determining TSCA compliance for both domestic supplied and imported raw materials.
  • Draft required notifications to the EPA
  • Prepare any required Chemical Data Reporting Forms

Hazardous waste management responsibilities: 

  • Train, advise, monitor and evaluate production, maintenance and warehousing activities to ensure compliance with in-house and regulatory (RCRA) requirements
  • Processing and filing various regulatory reports
  • Facilitate external (CDPHE and EPA) inspections
  • Maintain records including documentation of waste operations, shipments and training

BS degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with 4-10 years of regulatory experience, including TSCA and RCRA program management.
