Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (EHS) Manager

The HSQE Manager works within the department providing oversight and assistance of field work crews in order to comply with company and legal standards.


  • Complete multiple jobsite audits each week identifying and correcting real or potential hazards observed.
  • Make recommendations to management on improvement of processes and equipment to foster a safer working environment.
  • Provide training for employees in both the field and classroom setting and ensure employee understanding of applicable rules and regulations.
  • Lead on the ground incident investigation and post injury management efforts.  Provide guidance to field supervision and assist in finding root cause and corrective measures.
  • Attend meetings and trainings required by customers.
  • Manage company safety and quality management systems and input appropriate information for tracking purposes.
  • Manage safety equipment inventory ensuring proper equipment is provided to meet company and customer policy.
  • Track training expirations and provide appropriate retraining.
  • Perform vendor audit as assigned.
  • Prepare, review and audit service quality plans for accuracy and completeness.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Position Details:

  • FLSA Status:  Exempt
  • Job Status:  Full-time
  • Amount of Travel Required:  50%
  • Reports to:  Regional Manager/VP HSQE and Admin
  • Direct Reports:  Safety Coordinator
  • Work Schedule:  Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of industry – hours may be long and irregular.
  • *Must be local to the Midland, TX area or willing to relocate

Skills & Abilities:

  • Education:  Bachelors Degree in Safety
  • Experience:  5+ years in industry related safety position
  • Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, meet minimum driving requirements for company insurance purposes and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
