The Office Ergonomics Group focuses on providing our clients with office ergonomics solutions. This leadership position reports to the AVP, Ergonomics and will be responsible for the design, marketing, sales and delivery of our virtual and onsite office ergonomics consulting services. The position requires expertise in developing all aspects of successful office ergonomics programs, proficiency in ergonomic software, an aptitude for selling our office ergonomics services to clients, and an ability to develop and deliver relevant training to both our consultants and clients. This position will be tasked with driving our office ergonomics program to a world-class level. The role regularly interfaces with all levels of ESIS HSE Consulting, ESIS Sales and Marketing, Chubb Underwriting, broker partners and client personnel.
  • Refine and develop ESIS office ergonomics solutions.
  • Devise and implement a marketing and sales strategy, selecting target markets for introduction of our services to clientele.
  • Provides thought leadership on software selection, product offerings, client targets and innovations in product delivery.
  • Select office ergonomic software programs/companies to partner with, to efficiently exceed our clients’ specific needs.
  • Develop and conduct consultant office ergonomics training programs for the virtual and onsite facets of the program, to ensure consistent service delivery and expand our footprint of qualified resources.
  • Develop and present client office ergonomics training programs, to assist clients in program implementation and maintenance.
  • Provide direction, mentoring and guidance to office ergonomics staff. Serves as manager for direct reports as well as other trained office ergonomics consultants throughout HSE. Has ultimate responsibility for product/practice quality and financial performance.
  • Act as a technical resource on office ergonomics for Account Managers, HS&E Consultants, Claims Personnel, Underwriters and Insured’s as well as direct service customers.
  • Participate in new and renewal business presentations when requested by BDMs, Account Managers and Underwriters.
  • Act as quality manager for client product.
  • Conduct onsite and virtual office ergonomic assessments.
  • Determine adequacy of hazard controls in all areas of office ergonomic exposure through interview, onsite observation, loss/incident report review.
  • Ability to use technology to provide state of the art risk assessment and benchmarking tools with legal compliance knowledge (e.g. VDU, Privacy Shield, ADA etc.).
  • Capacity to conduct technical research and provide presentations at ergonomic conferences.


  • High ability to develop and market office ergonomics services.
  • Ability to train, mentor, guide and motivate entry level staff.

  • Ability to manage deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and travel to client sites (up to 30%).

  • Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, engineering or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Able to test for obtaining a CIE or CPE designation within 3 years of the official start date for job.
  • Experience with NIOSH Lift Equation, Snook Tables, 3DSSP is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of all office ergo platforms: e.g. Erg Maps; Cardinus; Enviance.
